Phenon 

adj, n.

Originally a contrast to the word 'phenom', in the use of phenomenon, but it's meaning has twisted. Mainly used to describe someone that is awesome in their own way, and quite simply...a great person. Almost another word for phenomenon, amazing and wonder.

She gazed down at the piece of artwork in her hand, admiring the work and professional brushstrokes. In her eyes, it resembled something of a Da Vinci. "You're a real phenon when it comes to painting, you know that?"

Estonian phenomenon 

Estonia is a small country in northern Europe that feels and would like to be nordic, but actually belongs to the baltic countries south of the baltic sea. Due to its size and since just about 1.4 million people live there (for reference: New York has 8.4 million inhabitants) , somthing that has been dubbed the "estonian phenomenon" can be witnessed here. The term describes that everyone practically knows everyone or at least someone who knows them. This makes gossip equally more interesting and more dangerous, since the person you are gossiping about will almost certainly hear about it. Sometimes Estonia feels like a big family gathering of a country where even someone who seems to be a random stranger has most likely some kind of relation to you.

"Oh hey, I know the girl who just delivered our food... that was an awkward interaction"
"How do you know her?"

"Its just a case of estonian phenomenon, my classmate used to work at her families store and she used to play soccer with my second cousin. Did you know that she broke up with her Boyfriend?"

Buridan's Ass Phenomenon 

the phenomenon whereby you wish to do so many constructive things but end up not doing any of them since you can't seem to decide on which (comes from the adage of the donkey that sees two piles of food equidistant to each other but ends up starving to death because he's such an ass)

"Yeah, last summer I wanted to join a softball team, take part in a poker club, paint abstract act, design T-shirts, learn a programming language and cook exotic dishes, but the Buridan's Ass Phenomenon took into effect and I ended up doing nothing because I just had no focus. I am such an ass."
