Similar concept of how a nocebo effect produces an unintentionally negative outcome when a placebo effect would probably have been expected instead.

Of or in the likeness of Richard Nixon, the 37th president of the United States. Some women purport to be Nixony in appearance upon waking up, as overnight fluid retention plagues them. Some men dispute this assertion. These women have usually studied aesthetic theory for years, most of these men did not.
