michael nesmith
Guitarist and vocalist for the pop/rock band The Monkees. Member of the group from 1965-1970 and 1996-1997. Responsible for some of the Monkees’ best individually-penned efforts, including “The Girl I Knew Somewhere”, “Circle Sky”, “You Just May Be the One”, “Papa Gene’s Blues” and “Listen to the Band.” Has written many hit songs for other artists, including Linda Ronstadt, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Olivia Newton-John. A proficient guitarist who sustained a successful solo career in the 1970s, releasing countless solo albums and achieving Top 40 hit singles like “Joanne”, “Silver Moon” and “Rio.” These albums were considered to be some of the most groundbreaking of the country-rock era. Formed his own production company Pacific Arts in the late 1970s, which, spurred on by the filmed version of his single “Rio”, helped pioneer the dawn of the music video. Subsequently created the music chart show “Popclips” which later was bought by Warner and developed into MTV. Recipient of the first video Grammy Award for “Elephant Parts” in 1981. Pacific Arts became the leading American video publishing company in the 1980s. Resumed his solo career in the early 1990s after appearing only sporadically in concert with the reunited Monkees between 1986-1989, but temporarily rejoined the band in 1996. Published his first novel, The Long Sandy Hair of Neftoon Zamora, in 1999. Inherited the fortune of his mother, Bette, who invented Liquid Paper, also known as "white out."

Negima
Negima is a manga series by Ken Akamatsu, author of Love Hina and A.I. Love You among other works.
Negima is the story of an english wizard named Negi Springfield who has just graduated Magic School at the age of 10. His final task is to go to Japan to Mahora Academy, and all-girl's school, and become an english teacher to a class full of beautiful and strange girls.
At first, the story is about Negi getting to know his class (with a few ecchi adventures) but as the story progresses, the plot thickens, secrets are revealed, and the action increases. Negi makes several allies as well as opponents along the way.
This manga has also inspired Negima!? Neo- a spin-off manga, two animes (Negima! and Negima!?) several OVAs, a live action series and possibly a movie in the future.

Although Negima has a slightly rushed beginning, if you keep reading, the story is amazing and has original characters.

Neiman Marxist
A college-educated vaguely bohemian liberal (usually female and white) who, while shopping for $400 jeans and planning visits to exclusive Vegas nightclubs, espouses Marxist revolution, loves Che and/or anti-WTO protests, and claims empathy for the poor and oppressed as long as they don't move in next door. He or she will have traveled to a relatively safe city in the developing world with Starbucks, like Dubai, Buenos Aires, or Cape Town. Will have a piece of "ethnic" art in his or her condominium and/or suburban house in a gated community.
The border protest was attended by a group of Neiman Marxists who held signs and stayed back on the pavement.

crunchy
Adjective. Used to describe persons who have adjusted or altered their lifestyle for environmental reasons. Crunchy persons tend to be politically strongly left-leaning and may be additionally but not exclusively categorized as vegetarians, vegans, eco-tarians, conservationists, environmentalists, neo-hippies, tree huggers, nature enthusiasts, etc.
Also used to describe establishments where alternative foods and products are sold, i.e. natural food stores.

murderhobo
In a tabletop game, a murderhobo is a player who murders NPCs indiscriminately. This is normally derogatory, referring to a player who totally ignores quests, dialog, backstory, trade, world building etc.
The term is most common with Dungeons and Dragons, but it can be applied to most RPGs where the player is allowed to kill most quest-giving NPCs and NPC traders. E.g. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Divinity original sin.

Whale
In sales terms, a whale is a prospect that is significantly larger than an organization’s average customer.
Whales are large and extremely difficult to close. Due to their immense size, they are highly sought-after.
A whale is typically identified at first by a whale hunter on the sales team, but often requires cross-discipline participation in order to close; this includes assistance from operations, engineering, creative, client success, and business development teams.
