Narpomaniac

A person suffering from an obsessive, compulsive need to label everyone around them as a "narp" (non-athletic regular person). This individual uses the term as a psychological crutch to inflate their ego, this is to desperately try to convince others, and themselves, that they possess superior elite status, despite usually being otherwise unremarkable, aside from participating in a sport. (Yes this still applies even if you receive awards and are good at what you do, real athletes show respect to people regardless of if they participate in sports or not.)

The Narpomaniac: "Look at all these narps in the study hall today.."

Person: "Do you need us to build you a podium, or can we just work without you giving the whole student body a performance review?"

The Narpomaniac: "I'm just saying, they're regular people, narps."

Person: "And you’re a narpomaniac. We get it, you exercise and play sports. But making it your entire personality is way more exhausting than being a regular person, please quiet down."
