lamefest

1. terrible party, usually full of cotches.
2. when someone talks up an event to make it seem cool and before you even get out of your car, you know it blows.
3. when you're at a location where you know no one, and no one trys to bring you into the fold.

Person 1: Did you go to the party at Dusty's?
Person 2: Yeah, but I wished I didn't. It was the biggest lamefest ever.
Person 1: I told you man.

lamester

An individual who is not concerned with or even takes pride in the fact that many of his or her interests and tastes are considered by a general consensus as being outdated, uncool, and or unfit for their particular age group. Some people may feel there is a certian appeal to this behavior as it is genuine and rarely posed by anyone who is not indeed lame.

A twentysomething that would find it perfectly acceptable to pruchase items from the children's menu at a restaurant in order to receive a novelty or toy. Jean Teasedale, a fictional editorial contributor to The Onion, would be an example of a female lamester.

Lamester

Someone who is very lame and insignificant. The term is said dismissively usually.

Stephanie: Guess who I ran into yesterday?
Caroline: And, who might that be?
Stephanie: Scott's girlfriend!
Caroline: Oh no!
Stephanie: And, she wouldn't stop yapping about her new degree in "Women's Studies"... I mean how much more of a dummy could she be to want to do a whole degree about what she should have known to begin with by being a woman!?!
Caroline: Yeah, she is just a lamester you know!?! What else did you expect?!
Stephanie: Well, I expected some class... but, I got trash! Scott has become quite lame too for going out with such a woman!
Caroline: Tell me about it. I think I'm deleting him from my friends' circle of trust. Lame people have no place among us!
