The actual name *kitipo originated from the favelas of Brazil, Where these speaker boxes were invented to emulate the high fidelity sound of high end custom vehicles. Now in the North America and in the European Union there are impromptu car car meets where enthusiasts challenge each other in *chipeo sound competitions.
