1. Positive statement referring to a strange or innovative programming or technical task, project or idea.

2. Technical wonder; remarkable technical achievement.

3. Negative statement referring to an un-optimized, lazy or otherwise ignorant method of programming that somehow (or sometimes) gets the job done (eventually).

Positive: "The spyware code Joe Snuffy created was hacktastic!"

Negative: "This code is hacktastic. It either returns the correct data or crashes the client. Please fix it."

jackstick

A 23 year old male with beady eyes, baggy jeans, poorly made tattoos and a sleeveless shirt for displaying them. The jackstick is almost always found hanging around near gas stations trying to pick up 13 year old girls getting slushies after soccer practice.

I was getting gas while my daughter went in for a fountain drink. This jackstick tried to talk to her, so she kicked him in the balls just like I taught her.

jackastic

Adjective form of the commonly used noun "jackass."

A passive-aggressive insult.

Usually used in situations and settings where swearing or blue language is not allowed, like corporate boardrooms, church, the family dinner table, etc.

Often allows speaker to call someone a jackass without the recipient of the insult even realizing what they are being called. Allows for a two-pronged verbal attack: 1) recipient is labled a jackass, 2) recipient suffers the embarrassment of being called a word that sounds like they should know the definition of, but don't. It this context, jackastic is a passive aggressive word.

I appreciate your passion for this quarter's sales results, Bob, but if you could save jackastic observations for the Q & A segment, we would all appreciate it.

Does the fact that you got cut from the cheerleading squad again explain why you are being so jackastic today?

wacktastic

An individual or place that is so unbelievably wack that you cannot explain its level of wackness. This simply makes them wacktastic.

I can't stand working at this damn gym, this place is straight up "wacktastic!"

Man, that girl is don gone "wactastic"...look at dem shoes!

I can't stand how all these "wacktastic" individuals on facebook need to let me know what they're doing every second of every damn day.
