other term for "happening" or "going on". Commonly used to ask about future or current events. This is an adopted word from the 1990's American culture. Then it was frequently used to ask what the trendy or "in" thing was at the time.

ex: "What's the hizzap?" "Oh, not much just going out for pizza."
