The genderized term for harassment, when instigated by a member of the female persuasion. Contrast to himassment, which in a workplace context occurs when a male superior comes on to an employee who can be male or female, looking for sexual favors in exchange for career growth.

Differing from the standard derogatory "harassment"...

1. Herassment is an adjective indicating a male's infatuation with a female's behind as she walks by... followed by an audible expression of desire to possess it!

2. Can also be used as an expression of rejection... Seeing Herassment she was leaving me!

Look at the booty on that chick... She's giving me a bad case of herassment! I'd love to butter those buns!

Commitment harassment

A form of social pressure that attempts to shame a person into abandoning a lifestyle that is happy and free. It is often done in a non-confrontational (but sneaky) way, such as asking someone who is divorced and not currently engaged, "So, WHEN are you getting married again?"

What do you mean, "WHEN am I getting married again?" I already did my time. Come on now, isn't it time to stop commitment harassment of happy people?

When the office crowd are out having their two hour lunch, a big fat slob from shipping and receiving will take a commode shattering crap in the woman's room. It is a big no-no to take a stinky shit where the restroom is carpeted. Therefore, it is hilarious when the Human Resources Manager gags every day when she walks in there.
