Greenspoint

Greenspoint is Known for being one of Houston's worst hoods. The business district has a lot of low income housing units along insterstate 45, but there are more offices than bedrooms. Since the 1980s oil glut, the district has remained a hotbed of criminal activity. People who don't live in Greenspoint usually refer to it by its popular moniker: Gunspoint.

Advice for being in Greenspoint:
Don't leave your car alone for long periods.
Greenspoint mall? Forget it.

Don't go looking for trouble because you will find it.
"Im going to Greenspoint for a job interview tomorrow." "oh shit cock the glock and suit up lil homie"

Greenpoint

An interesting section of Brooklyn, New York, where much of the population is, and speaks, Polish, Ukrainian, and Lithuanian. Known for good Polish restaurants, and very easy to get to by train from Manhattan or Queens (you can see Manhattan's beveled Citicorp Tower from most of the streets). Near Metropolitan Ave. just a few blocks away from the beginning of Greenpoint, there's a beautiful Russian Orthodox church with maroon onion domes and gold crosses.
My drothers are for a Polish restaurant, so let's have some chow in Greenpoint!

Greenspoint

A neighborhood in Houston established in the 1970s. Known for aging (but tall) office buildings, crime, the declining Greenspoint Mall, and being by and large, "ghetto"

Girl:Is there a keg?
Guy:you know it

greenpoint

Pronounced by the locals "Green-pernt." All manner of animal innards hanging in the windows. St. Stan's church was said to bankroll many of the Poles who moved into the neighborhood. The church would give them loans that they could not get at banks, and build life-long reverence.
"Yo, Vasili, look at dat kishka in da windah! Now I knows we's in Greenpoint (Green-pernt)."

A cheap ring that turns the part of your finger that was under it green.
I thought he spent a lot of money on it, but it ended up being a greenring.
