ganghi

Ganghi is a word that was originally derived from the mispronunciation of the Caribbean virus "Chikungunya", which is an illness caused by a virus that spreads through mosquito bites. The word ganghi transformed into an adjective that is used to describe anything annoying or generally unpleasant.
Ex: I can't deal with this ganghi place. If my boss asks me for one more TPS report, I swear I'll quit.
Ex: Did you see the short romper she wore to that meeting? It was totally inappropriate and she looked like total ganghi!
