Abstract Expressionism

- noun
an “artistic” movement reflective of post-WWII America’s industrial dominance. Just as GM was able to slap together shitty cars & dump them on the “free” world, American "artists" figured they could slap any shit they wanted onto a canvas & declare it artistically "relevant". As the philosopher P.T. Barnum observed, a sucker’s born every minute, & so the shit sold.

A major reason these artists sucked was they couldn’t stay inside the lines. They side-stepped this seeming career-killer by ignoring the lines & marketing themselves as rebellious, anarchic, idiosyncratic & nihilistic which explains A LOT about why the “art” looks the way it does… when you set out to paint shit, you end up with art that looks like shit.

Eventually the art world caught on to the scam, forcing the “artistes” to rebrand themselves as trailblazers in other bogus schools like “Post-painterly Abstraction”, “Color Field Painting”, “Lyrical Abstraction”, “Action Painting”, “Minimal Art”, “Post-minimalism”, & eventually some crap labeled "Neo-expressionism", a style so insignificant it barely escaped the late-70s. Given the paucity of talent in the artists who inspired them (e.g., Amedeo Modigliani, Max Jacob) it’s no wonder their works have the aesthetic appeal of a dog’s breakfast. Truth be told, most were frustrated poseurs who couldn't handle composition & perspective, & burned out on cocaine in the 70s to escape their anger at just missing the free-love movement of the 60s.
Chip: Hey, Dale. I didn’t know Hunter S. Thompson did Abstract Expressionism painting… hope you didn’t spend much on that piece of crap you hung in the foyer.

Dale: I’ll have you know that’s a Michael Petroni… one of Neo-expressionism’s finest artistes!

Chip: If that’s the good stuff, save me from the rest of it. And hang that monstrosity somewhere else, like the attic.

Hotel Expressionism

Far different from vandalism (such as throwing a television out of the window by its cord), but serious irrepairable structural damage to a Hotel Room. Generally associated with personal injury, destruction of personal property and/or inebriation. Essentially, general mayhem.
"Sorry about the bill for that Hotel Expressionism last night, but I'm an artist you know."

Post-fartum expression

The sigh of relieve and that silly smile a person has after letting out that gas that has been held in for so long.
Slightly changed term from 'Testees' Ssn1 when Peter lets out a huge fart that he thought was a baby and Ron tells him he's got post-fartum depression. Post-fartum expression is easier to relate to.

gender expression

Gender expression is exactly what is sounds like it is: the way you express your gender identity. Are you a woman? Wonderful! Does that automatically mean you love dresses and adore cat eyeliner? Nope. There are many ways to express one's gender identity whether heteronormative or gender-non-conforming! Historically, gender expression has been commodified and culturalized, dividing the population into either lipstick-lovin-ladies or motorcycle-muscle-men.

But wait--you pick a gender identity, does that mean your gender expression must conform to that identity at all times??? Hell no! Your gender expression can manifest any way you want it to! It's all up to the individual. Today: femme. Tomorrow: genderfuck.

Remember that gender identity includes, but is not limited to, identities such as 'woman' and 'man,' what would be called cisgender. Genderqueer identities are numerous: there is genderfuck and femme and gender fluid and gender neutral and agender and transgender and many more. For more examples, just go to your facebook page and check out the updates gender identification options (not that this list is entirely inclusive, but it'll provide you with a decent basis!)
Jaquan: Hey, Betty looks like a dude today. WTF?
Bailey: Yo, that's just her gender expression. Maybe she identifies as gender-non-comforming.

Jaquan: Oh, tight. Maybe tomorrow I'll wear a skirt.
Bailey: Hell yeah! Express yoself!

Texas is categorized as a swing state in presidential elections, but has voted for Republicans more times than for Democrats in recent history. As such, as demographics change political alignments, some Democrats believe that Texas will vote blue, or Democratic, due to their Hispanic and African American voters, who often align themselves with the Democratic Party's liberal wing.

Blexas has been cited as possible in the upcoming decades, but only if Democrats continue to win the Hispanic vote in bigger margins.
Democrat 1: What is your prediction for the 2024 presidential election?
Democrat 2: Well uh, Blexas!
Democrat 1: You've been saying that since 2008 though.

Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
Along with Nixon’s other ratfuckers, Roger Stone caused fights at otherwise peaceful Democratic Party protests to generate a false narrative that the Democrats were violent and dangerous.
