donors remorse

The feeling you get after you have given money or merchandise that you have been scammed.

I gave several computers to a woman who claimed they would go to nursing homes. Now I see those computers listed on craigslist. What you're feeling is donors remorse it's common for people who don't check out who they are giving to. And yes it's likely she's a scammer, craigslist is loaded with them.
