a dope friend is like a dope fiend, only thing is that usually you say dopefiend to somebody when you don't like it they are on dope etc. a dopefriend however is something you say when you both like to get high and you are friends.

me and Tom are dfl> dopefriends for life

we don't care what they call us I'm his dopefriend no matter what.
