A phrase used for those who are in the air selling business, and only want for trees to shrivel up and die.
O'Hare (Famous CEO of "O'Hare Air,", which produces and sells clean air): Let it (Last tree in the human existence) die, let it die, let it shrivel up and-. C'mon, whose with me?
Marie: Nobody.
Cy: You greedy dirtbag!
One who casts off the restraints of a conventional life to pursue their passion(usually something dangerous and off the wall like base jumping, rock climbing, surfing etc.) Often you will find them living in vans, buses, caves or tents. Usually broke but always smiling.
Girl: Mommy, I never want to grow up. Mom: Well Dear, learn to climb, buy a van and become a dirtbagger.
(noun) Paddler, of any level, who loves the River and the river lifestyle.
Goes rafting, kayaking, canoeing, SUP, whatever! Swims like a fish, and loves rain as much as sun. May be broke in the pocket, but rich and giving in the soul. Speaks the universal language, that of the River, in any of the tongues of the Dirtbag Paddler World - which is all of them. Survives on whatever it takes to get that next WALLACE fix. Would throw a rope to anyone! If your car smells like your gear, or better yet if you HAVE no car, you're a dirtbag.
One Love, One River! -Dirtbag Paddler
In my opinion, being a dirtbag paddler is a much nobler pursuit than merely trading my hours for a handful of dimes.
A teenager who is an outsider/goes unnoticed, doesn‘t like parties and isn‘t a big fan of people, seems distant, has an idgaf attitude, spends most of their time locked up in their room probably on the phone/computer, maybe dresses alternative or a way that is not considered “normal”.
“Your skin’s so pale. When was the last time you went outside? Don’t you have any friends? Why aren‘t you answering? Must be a teenage dirtbag…”
