Collateral Beauty
The beauty to be found in the midst of devastation or despair. The result of a methodical and intentional approach to difficult and typically life-altering situations that yields beautiful, positive and meaningful outcomes for an intended target (the person who is experiencing misfortune).

School full of rich white kids who drink excessively on the weekends but put in work during the week. Most of them will either become doctors (or so they think), teachers, or accountants. Spend way too much time at the gym. Everyone acts like they're failing every class but a "failing" grade to them is actually a B. Not actually in Boston but fucking gorgeous campus. College Board
A greedy, monopolistic corporation that abuses and inflicts pain on students everywhere by writing their idea of college entrance exams and charging them a shitload of money for it. The most disgusting part of this is that the college board essentially profits off of the torture and abuse of these kids who are literally working themselves to death.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
