Burn that, burn it. Made up while using marijuana, it's often used when one is impatient or when one is talking or telling a story and isn't hitting, or lighting up the joint. It is also used when just sitting around, or after preparing to hit a bong or while hitting it.

Ya Burnt!

Used primarily as a declaration of superiority in a verbal encounter. Similar to 90's "Suck it!" and "Gotcha" and declared with an "In your face!" attitude.
From the NBC hit-comedy 30 Rock:

Jenna: First, I was great in that "Arliss!" Second of all, if the president is so serious about the war on terror, why doesn't he hunt down and capture Barack Obama, before he strikes again? Its time for a change, America. That's why I'm voting for Osama in 2008!

(Liz collapses. Chris Matthews is speechless.)

Jenna: Oh no comeback? YA BURNT!
1) A convenient combination of "bugman" and "nationalist," often used by Christian nationalists to describe other nationalists who do not embrace Christ or the spiritual aspects of ourguy nationalism.

2) A nationalist who has highly consumerist tendencies that translate into his political philosophy (or lack thereof).

3) A nationalist who sees glimpses of the truth of the world's power structure but is hopelessly attached to many of the power structure's "teachings."

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
