Blogademia

Derived from "blog" + "academia" - term refering to the academic study of weblogs. Coined in 2003 as the title of a blog concerning a study of the language used in blogs.
With the increasing academic interest in blogs, perhaps blogademia will finally be able to tell us why people blog.

Blogademia

Also refers to the use of weblogs by academics. This can take two forms: as personal blogs solely concerned with self and also including discussions of their work; or as when used as a place to foster ideas and enable communication between academics in a field.
Last month there was an article in a New York newspaper on blogademia.

Blingatude

Blingatude was invented by a bunch of kids on a K-Mart commercial in attempt to sound cool. To have blingatude, you must spread your legs and let a camera zoom in on the designs on the back of your pants. Kids who have blingatude only have one bffaeae, which is blingatude itself. Girls with blingatude love guys who also have blingatude, even if they are ugly and/or fat.
We have blingatude, sis!!!

Blograture

Somewhat like literature only less 'classy'. A reference to something read/seen online as though an authority.
Invariably Ser3ndipity is a great point of reference for blograture.

blogitude

The attitude and direction taken by a particular blogger, reflected in the evolution of his or her posts. A dynamic entity of a blog.
I was worried when favorite blogger totally took on a new blogitude after she quit her job, but I still find Roxy in Ennui highly entertaining and addictive!
