A best friend is someone who is there for you through thick and thin. It's someone who listens and understands you. Someone you can call anytime about anything you feel you need to 'tell' or 'vent'. It's someone who will stand up for you in the times when you need it most, keep your secrets close, and someone you can trust with your life. They will support you in any decision you make even if it's hard for them. It's someone who is there for you as much as they can be and does and says whatever they can to up your mood in down times. You can be your COMPLETE and total self around this person without feeling uncomfortable. You can say or do anything, and your relationship never changes. Someone who literally feels sent from heaven to make your life that much easier. Someone who will do almost anything for you as you would do for them, and someone who loves you no matter what kind of stupid things you do. This person will always want the best for you, as you will always want for them. And as much as people change- Your love with a REAL best friend will never fade through all the phases of life and problems that come a long with it. And will get them tickets to support them.

Bestfriend 

Contrary to popular belief, your bestfriend doesn't have to be with you 24/7 or think and act just like you. Truly, a bestfriend can be the exact opposite of you, and this usually leads to fights and difficulties getting along, but somehow you still just love them to death anyway. Your bestfriend is the one person who could not speak to you for any amount of time but you still think of them just the same. Someone who, despite all the changes a person goes through in their life, will stick by you and always accept you for who you are. A person who will always tell you what you NEED to hear, even if its not necessarily what you WANT to hear. A person who can make you laugh even on your bad days, and who makes all the problems in life seem easy to overcome, as long as you have them by your side. A bestfriend can be many things, your inspiration, your hero; bestfriends help eachother to become better people by using honest, constructive criticism that sometimes hurts to hear, but is all for the best in the end. Bestfriends are the ones that bring up touchy topics with you, even if it will risk you being angry w/ them because they care more about your well being. Your bestfriend is the one who you could piss off so badly, but in your time of need they'll will still be there for you. A bestfriend is someone who you have shared good AND bad memories with, but you just can't help but cherish each of them; a TRUE bestfriend is hard to come by, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.

A close friend but better. Usually someone you are very close to and can trust with anything. They are there for you when you are down and depressed. They will wipe your tears and cheer you up. If you've had a bad day, they'll call you that day or the next, to make sure your alright. They'll stick up for you, and will always have your back. They'll give you good advice and you can talk about anything. When you get in a fight with them, you can almost always forgive them. If theres a problem and you confront them about it, you may both be pretty upset but in the end it will all work out..and if not.. then they aren't much of a bestfriend.
Most importantly your yourself around them. And they love you and you them.

I was so down today and my bestfriend Dave brought me flowers and a hug and made it all better.
