When one takes a photo of their alcoholic beverage of choice, while including the previous beverage (be it their own or someone else's) in the background of the photo.
This can include using a social media site in the background to display the previous beerception image.
Thus resulting in a chain of images in which there is always a photo of a beer in the background.
if you go all CSI you can zoom in and see back in time.

Bro1: Bro, It's Friday arvo, lets crack a cold one..
Bro2: Wait! don't forget to do beerception!
Bro1: Ohhh no shit! lets get this one good! i'm going to get last weeks beerception up on my phone and pose with that cougar over there , make sure you capture it!
