A Marine Corps/Navy personnel forward operating command in Okinawa, Japan. People attached to the unit undergo observation used to study the affects of military personnel confined to prison conditions and mistreatment. Personnel are subject to below standard living quarters, curfew restrictions inspired by Germany's Nazi party, and plentiful amounts of unskilled menial labor used to degrade individuals to the point of psychological trauma and complacency.

Holding your immediate family as prisoners in Guantanamo Bay until you get your FMF pin qualification, and other forms of black mail that violate United Nations policies. "I used to have a bright future, but then I got stationed at 3d Medical Battalion."

When a person is moved to a U.S. Army battalion level staff position and begins to come up with ideas they used to think were dumb. The individual will also start coming to work 50% less than they used to.

Example:
Hey man, why is Johnny being all Battalionized about this training?

Example 2:

Hey man, where's Johnny? He isn't at work

Yeah he's being all battalionized today.

Life onboard described as unbearable and comparable to life in a Nazi concetration camp though the treatment of Sailors and Marines may be worse than tsuffered by holocause victims.
