Get the Badina mug.A term used within the Durban Indian community to describe someone who is useless. It is most commonly used as an insult, but may also be used in a joke-like manner. One can be considered a badhasamy if, for example, they do not provide meaningful value to a conversation (viz. talks rubbish) constantly and consistently, struggles with his/her academic studies, and does not seek to improve themselves or their situation in any shape, way or form - resulting in a perception of overwhelming mediocrity of that person.
Being a badhasamy is considered contagious, and often badhasamy's (p.) naturally associate with one another and feed of each other as a way to compensate or console their own lack of personal ability.
Badhasamy's do not realize that they are badhasamy's and it may be difficult to identify them at times as they'll possess qualities such as smooth-talking and may be popular socially, making it exceptionally hazardous to other non-badhasamy's.
