Showing disgust at your verbal opponents argument, idea, topic or phrasing instead of actually replying to their statement.
The reply ususally consists of the author stating their disgust about the original comment, often using the word "yikes".

Guy: "Man, the replies to my hottake about Sonic '06 where just filled with yikesposting"

Bro: "Whats wrong with eating snails? I tried them in Paris and they were delicious!"
Friend: "WTF, you're disgusting bro. Yikes!"

"Omg did you hear, Dave's girlfriend caught him in bed with her manager and then she went and slept with his best friend as revenge"
