Also known as Friday as the first half of the day is noted as a 'weekday' while after work/school, the rest of the day is noted as part of the weekend. Hence the combination of both 'Weekend' and 'Weekday'.

A very short leisure trip taken on the weekend, sometimes over the course of a 3-day weekend when a holiday falls either on the preceding Friday or following Monday.
