Volunterror

A person who will screw up any type of volunteer work. Usually shows up late and/or under the influence, tries to take charge, breaks things, steals things, or in the total 360 hides until their shift is over. Most often is forced into agreeing to volunteer at mother's insistence.

Do not accept Glenn to help with the wine tasting - he's a total volunterror.

A portmanteau of volunteerism and terrorism, Volunterrorism is the act or process of creating terror or havoc through volunteering or non-profit pursuits.

volunteurocrat

An organizer who repeatedly dominates position of responsibility and decision making by sheer virtue of having the capacity and resources to volunteer. This should not be confused with rank and file control, which requires broad rank and file participation.

A quarter of the branch is volunteurocrats keeping everything running, and the other three quarters keep quitting in two months because they don't plug into the work, so they have to keep getting easy recruits from campus. The cream of the volunteurocracy gets skimmed off into the nonprofit staff pool every election cycle.

annoying people in the service of a good cause, preferably by calling them while they are eating or having sex and making them feel bad and asking for money.

I was getting hot and heavy with my GF when Sean Penn came by to volunterrorize me about genocide in Darfur. Needless to say, the moment was ruined.

adjective. 1 - The act extreme volunteering, 2 - Volunteering to the point where it is irritating, confronting, or off putting, 3 - Being accosted by a volunteer whom for whatever reason cannot be ignored or refused

Volunterrorist

noun. 1. A volunteer who for whatever reason cannot be refused or ignored, 2. A volunteer who persists to the point where it is irritating, offensive, or damaging to the cause they are attempting to assist.

Old Martha is definitely a Volunterrorist, no one can refuse our cause with her on our side!
