Felonious Thelonius

A nickname given to the great jazz pianist Thelonius Monk due to the friendships he had with cultural rabble rousers like Allen Ginsberg and Timothy Leary.
We love the freedom we feel when Felonious Thelonius sets us on fire!

thelonious monk

Simply the best pianist of all time. He was incredibly innovative, wore a beret and sunglasses at most of his performances. Showed emotion, used complex rhythms, and was awesome.

Monk is in the ranks with Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson, Art Tatum, Bill Evans, etc.
Person A: You haven't heard of Thelonious Monk?
Person B: No, who's he?
Person A: You're retarded.

Thermonsate

- verb, (-sated, sating)

To pre-heat an object or region of space for oneself or others to experience. Thermonsation, the process by which one thermonsates, is commonly referenced in public spaces whereby a stranger has pre-heated an object of interest preceding an individual's arrival.

Derived from a conjunction of the prefix "thermo", from Greek meaning heat, and inseminate, meaning to sow or implant seed into.
(person 1): This bus is packed but there's an open seat over here.

(person 2 upon sitting down): Aw gross, this seat is totally thermonsated.

(person 1): Dirty. You're probably sitting in the drippings of some fat old man's hot body.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
