The Birds 

Meaning to catch instant feelings for someone unexpectedly. When an individual catches "The Birds", he or she may be very confused as to why they caught feelings but go along with them.

"Hey man I think Brendan has the birds for that Hannah chick."
"Yeah I know, he's been texting her every day for a week now after that party."

The birds is a name for the spies working for the bourgeoisie. They were introdused into the world in 1986 when Reagan kild all birds and replaced them with spies that now are watching the American peapoul. The birds got there name fom the thing they replased.

When "the birds are real" it implies a person is high.

**Can be said as "The birds are real" or "Those birds are real"

Ex 1:
Person 1: look! that guy is smokin a huge joint!

Person 2: oh yeah, the birds are real!

Ex 2:
person 1: *sniffs* You smell that?

person 2: Yeah, those birds are real!

A phrase commonly used to signify that one will not get any left over food. The meaning is that instead of giving leftover food to the person asking for it, you would rather scrape it outside for the birds to eat.
