In those regions, the number 4 in most Asian languages is a homophone with death, the main reason tetraphobia is prominent in East Asia.

Suffering from a fear of terrorism. Terrorphobic.

Crowded public transport, being in a tall building, large public events, or seeing a bag left on its own make you scared for your life.

tetraphobia 

the fear of the number 4
tetraphobia is serious and you ignore everything that includes the number 4. you do not say 4 letter words, write them in essays or notes, eat 4 skittles at a time, have 4 buttons on your shirt, play a fourth on the piano, etc...

My boyfriend can't say "i love you" to me because he has tetraphobia and love is 4 letters long.
