TURRETT

Their roots can be traced back many years in western Newfoundland, where they have been involved in various activities such as fishing, hunting, and baking homemade bread. Despite facing challenging circumstances, including a family split due to the abusive behavior of the grandfather, the Turrett family has persevered and grown stronger.

It is worth noting that the misspelling of the last name as "Tourout" by one of the uncles resulted in a secondary family name. Nevertheless, both variations, Turrett and Tourout, have been embraced by different branches of the family.
