A derisive term used by some Army paratroopers to describe members of the US Marine Corps.

There goes the TV cameras: the superlegs must be gearing up for an operation before they go home.

Superlegate

superlegate (soo-per-le-gayt)
verb (transitive)

To assign, redirect, or defer a task, duty, or problem to one’s superior or higher authority, especially when one might reasonably be expected to handle it oneself.

Rather than make the call himself, he superlegated the issue to his department head.
