Stinkflation

The process, whereby, corporations, over time, increasingly cheapen their product quality and materials thereby making them more inferior ie "stinky".
I am tired of all the Shrinkflation and Stinkflation that is going on with companies today. Everything I buy seems smaller and breaks more often.

The decrease of the quantity of a given commodity within the purchasable item without a proportional decrease in price.
Although the bag looked the same, the significantly fewer chips per bag proved that we were seeing shrinkflation.

Spinflation

When the rate of inflation in a given country increases uncontrollably, but the media and politicians spin the story to say that the economy and people of said country are thriving.
Politician: “In the last 19 months we have worked together to make this country more affordable for all citizens…”
Media: “It truly is incredible how the President continues to decrease costs for the average citizen — all in less than 2 years!”

Average Citizen 1: “Bro, what are they talking about?! I pay a higher price for gas, water, electric, and food just about every month!”
Average Citizen 2: “This is just a textbook example of spinflation.”

stockflation

Informal inflation index "voted upon" by "short" and "long" day-traders in global market. Roughly a measure of inflationary forces vs deflationary monetary assets. Some of the obvious indicators are called the Dow, Nasdaq, and the Standard and Poors. Calculated roughly as the inverse of the monetary symbol, as in the US, the dollar.
Stockflation has become the modern mantra for the illusion of wealth.
