Verb: The act of feeling how soft a food is by givin it a lil squeeze. (ie. Donuts for softness, bread for staleness, and fruit for ripeness)
Walked up on this kid sponching all the donuts, raw handed. Left fingerprints all in ‘em.

Sorry, I was Sponching the Hostess Glazed Donuts. No good ones today all too hard.
