Someone who buys an Sport Utility Vehicle as protection from other drivers, which endangers everyone else on the road. Other drivers react by also becoming SUVivalists. Every car is now an SUV. Nobody is any safer, some pedestrians are dead, and the highway needs repairing. Next level SUVivalists realize that what they need is a truck.

"Some get an SUV because they think sport is something you do in a car, but I need this SUV to protect my family from the crazy drivers out there. That's what makes me a SUVivalist. Other people's families... are not my problem."

The theory that with good preparation, you can defend yourself and live through the zombie apocalypse. Proponents may take concrete steps to be ready by installing extra security around the home, stockpiling provisions, plus purchasing firearms and four-wheel-drive vehicles.

Counter-survivalism

An ideology based on the belief that humanity is actively working against itself as a species to the extent that it has a detrimental effects on our chances of survival. Therefore, it dictates, present human society is following a counter-survivalist ideology. The term was coined by M.H. in her study of invasive species and the relation between science and society during her years at SciencesPo.

Someone either working independantly or as part of an organization who plans and helps educate people on what to do in the event of a zombie outbreak. A number of organizations, such as ozort, make their strategies available to the public and have online forums and websites that allow people and discuss ideas.

The zombie outbreak was prevented thanks to the work of a zombie survivalist group in the area.

usually a fairly crazy person, who thinks that eventually the world be a big free-for-all, traits of one may include, paranoia about politics and war, large stash of weapons and ammo and food, medical supplies, and sometimes even a bomb-shelter on their property. very militaristic person

i just bought a rifle off this crazy survivalist, he showed me his weapons stash 20 feet below ground dug from his basement, i was in the military, and even i had never seen some of the things that man had, guns and ammo of every type!
