When something (often a joke) is taken to the extreme.

Friend 1: "Yeah, I bouta hit up the club!"
Friend 2: "Make sure you have a cute outfit."
Friend 1: "Oh, I will, with my matching shirt and shoes."
Friend 2: "That should be cute."
Friend 1: "And my matching socks and weave."
Friend 2: "Ok, run out." OR "You can out."

Run Out of Town on a Rail

Olde-timey phrase, most commonly referring to the act of literally carrying someone perched uncomfortably on a rail to a point outside of the city limits. This was often a form of punishment for committing any act others thought was extremely bad. It is still sometimes used in the Southern states.

Doctor:What did she take?
Friend:These, Dexamil. Supposed to cure drinkin'
Doctor: Alan T. Whitman, M.D. That man ought to be run out of town on a rail.
