An area on the border of Greater Manchester, not so far from Bury, Bolton, Burnley etc; Made famous for its Ski Slope.
Inhabited by inbreds, specifically in Bacup, and now becoming more predominant in Rawtenstall and Haslingden.
There are also alot of asians who think they are 2pac, and alot of people of irish/celtic descent.

Rosedale Heights 

An arts high school in Toront by Castle Frank station. The school is renowned for it's welcoming atmosphere.

Rosedale Heights' includes friendly students usually with eccentric ideals and clothing styles, as well as some 'trendy' pretentious students who are very fake in their encounters with other Rosedalians.

If you see a kid on the subway wearing a knit mult-coloured cap and purple tight pants, he/she most likely goes to Rosedale Heights.

Rosedale is also a place of immense marijuana culture. People are not very discreet in smoking near the property.

"Will you be making an appearance in the Gay Pride Parade tonight?"
"oh no i'm not gay. I'm wearing these tight leather pants and this pink t-shirt because i'm a Rosedale Heights trend-setter."

Rediculously attractive frontman for the 90's band Bush, which many people referred to as "the British version of Nirvana". Married to Gwen Stefani of the band No Doubt.

P.S. Don't try looking for the band Bush in urbandictionary, because all there is is crap about the president.

I saw Gavin Rossdale yesterday on TV, and despite the fact that he is yet another singer-turned-actor, I nearly fainted from his hotness.

Roslindale 

Steve Deossie is from Roslindale, the group Bird Brain was started here, parts of the movies Mystic River and The Edge of Darkness were filmed here. This neighborhood is sometimes referred to as the 'forgotten' neighborhood because it's sandwiched in between the more well-known West Roxbury, Jamaica Plain and Hyde Park. Washington Street in Roslindale Center is a bottle-neck coming from any direction, and the neighborhood is a lot more hilly than you might think.

Roslindale 

Known by some as "Rossie." Is also the best neighborhood in Boston, home to good restaurants, hipsters, part of the Arboretum and atleast three Dunkin Donuts. It's supposed to be 'up and coming' (so there is a fairly large gay community) but there are also projects.

I was mugged in Roslindale but I still love it.
