Resolutionism

Resolutionism is a theoretical social, political and economic system which is designed to save the world.

The creator of Resolutionism, is Aaron Nordquist, a Canadian author, sociologist and philosopher, and a social activist. Nordquist has expressed opinions on economics, politics and world events in his blogs, podcasts and books. He is the founder of the Save Our Earth Now foundation. Since the early 2000's, he has stated that his personal visions have been called many names, such as "democratic capitalism," "neo-enlightenmentism," and "libertarian socialism," but he prefers to simply call himself a "Resolutionist."

Nordquist is the author of "Resolutionism: How to Save the World" and "The Resolutionist Manifesto: Preamble to the Declaration of Universal Emancipation."
We here highly resolve to have a new birth of freedom, under the supports, practices and logic of the political, economic and social system named Resolutionism.

Resolutionist

A person who joins the gym in early January because of their New Years Resolution. Resolutionists can be spotted by their pasty white skin, excessive fat, poor form, and blank look on their face as they stand next to any piece of gym equipment. Resolutionists usually migrate back to the couch any time from mid-January to early March.
"This damn Resolutionist has been on the Smith machine for 30 minutes. Maybe if he put more than 30 lbs on the bar and stopped taking 10 minute rests it wouldn't take so long. I can't wait until March"

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
