The Philippine variant of Wenzel from the Latinized long name Wenceslaus originating from Czech or Slav name Vaclav. It means "Praised with Glory" as far as it is defined.
"The truth about Rencel is it isn't just an original name but an adapted name of Wenzel. Just like how Rizal is actually a Philippine surname of the Spanish word called Ricial."
