Phorbulate

Phorbulate (verb): to move or progress in a slow and deliberate manner, often with great caution and attention to detail.

This can refer to physical movement or the progression of an idea or project.

The word is derived from the Greek word "phorbos," meaning caution or carefulness, and the Latin suffix "-ulate," meaning to make or become.
