With its large snout it is able to sniff out the distinct smell of leather handbags. Ninnypigs can be quite dangerous if disturbed in their natural habitat, emitting a high pitched squeal and attacting if their search for shoes is interrupted.
Ninnypigs are fed on a diet of iced buns and gin, however care should be taken when feeding as they can be quite vicious when hungry.
