"Niggelbert" is a whimsical term referring to a mischievous gnome known for playfully rearranging garden ornaments during the night. Gardeners often blame missing tools or shifted decorations on the antics of a visiting Niggelbert.

Last night, a mischievous Niggelbert must have visited, as my garden gnome collection is now arranged in a perfect circle around the birdbath.
