When someone who works in professional services (lawyers,doctors, accountants.. etc) is over studious and over achieving and makes others look worse and thus makes them work harder.

Typically seen in public accounting.

SG (tax accountant): hey Bro, you here JM asked for more work from the managers & partners. He said he still had capacity working only 60 hour weeks. Wants to up to 80.

DB (Other accountant): Man, that guy always tries to make us look bad we we only work the designated 37.5 hours a week. He’s such a fucking nerdrat. *bangs fist on table*

SG: yea but your also a fucking nerdrat working 42 hours a week.

DB: Your a fucking nerdrat

SG: fuck you. Nerdrat

nerdrettes

An affliction commonly occurring in nerds that causes them to join nearby conversations uninvited. This normally occurs when the conversation is about a topic the nerd has some knowledge of.

The effects of nerdrettes can be suppressed with force of will, but many nerds lack the social grace to do so.

Man: Those people attending the game convention across the street seem to be all dressed up.

Woman: Yeah, it must be some sort of shooter game thing - see how they all have plastic guns?

Nerd: They're cosplaying as characters from the game Valkyria Chronicles. It's a turn-based military tactics game for PS3.

Man: We weren't talking to you.

Nerd: Sorry, my nerdrettes got the better of me... Do you want some Pocky?

Boy definition: A huge dick head that tries to get attention and thinks they are very tough

Girl definition: a complete idiot that has no idea what the fuck is going on; a vagina

nerdrotica

A tongue in cheek term coined my webcomic writer R. K. Milholland circa 2004 in his webcomic 'Something Positive'. The word encompasses erotica specifically directed at nerds, geeks and other socially challenged more comfortable interacting with the oposite sex only in their mind. Nerdrotica combines the traditional pursuits of nerd-dom with sex in all its forms.

A scantily clad lovely women talking in a seductive voice about the inherent value of AD&D over the original box set D&D is a form of nerdrotica.

Books everyone reads but no one over 16 will admit to. You know you're reading nerdataure when you remove the bookcover before reading in public. The lures of nerdature are the magical characters, fantasy lands, and epic journeys.

Nerdrage is both the emotion felt when a nerd is exposed to something that directly contradicts the core beliefs of their obsession, and the reactionary diatribe by the nerd that inevitably follows.

I use to keep up with internet discussions related to comic book movies but the nerdrage became too much.
