Midtacular

Something that is viewed as "mid" or mediocre but still seen or perceived as spectacular or good. Used as a way to describe the middle ground of something that can't be pushed towards one side of the spectrum in terms of how good something is. Usually when this something is supposed to be spectacular, but something is affecting it and causing it to drop on this spectrum.

This watermelon tastes midtacular.
