The general of the First Great Australian Emu War, he led Australian troops to victory until his untimely death by the Emu General D. Holland in 1690, age 44 years old. His legacy was remembered in the Second Great Australian Emu War in 1932.

Michael II (Greek: Μιχαὴλ, romanized: Michaēl; 770 – 2 October 829), called the Amorian (Greek: ὁ Ἀμοριεύς, romanized: ho Amorieus) and the Stammerer (ὁ Τραυλός, ho Travlós or ὁ Ψελλός, ho Psellós),1 reigned as Byzantine Emperor from 25 December 820 to his death on 2 October 829, the first ruler of the Amorian dynasty.
