Get the Madland mug.A madlad is a dude that did something so incredibly extreme, so fundamentally unbelievable, that everyone just wonders in awe after him. Someone out of their god damned mind who did something that no sane person would have thought possible. It is often preceded by the word “absolute”.

A true madlad is a combination of fearlessness & a total lack of common sense & self preservation. Always a contender for either the Darwin Awards or a prison sentence. Something along the lines of going on a bulldozer rampage in protest, booby-trapping a cabin built on land without a permit, ice fishing with dynamite, or attempting to do yoga on the ledge or flag poll of an apartment complex.
Only an absolute madlad like Inspector Zenigata would jump onto a race track during a race in an attempt to arrest a driver.

Get the Malandro mug.A common figure in Brazilian culture, the «malandro» is a laid back bad-boy, appreciated as a folk hero of some sort. The football-samba-petty crime type of figure.
The act of being a «malandro», «malandragem», is characterised in the Brazilian popular imagination as a tool for individual justice. Facing the forces of oppressive institutions, the individualist malandro survives by manipulating people, fooling authorities, and sidestepping laws in a way which guarantees his well-being. In this way, the malandro is a typical Brazilian hero. Literary examples include Pedro Malasarte and João Grilo; with a good example of non-Brazilian character being Jimmy McGill.
But the malicious and corner-cutting figure of the malandro does not mean one would be selfish, careless towards others. A malandro doesn't use malandragem to take advantage of another person intending to harm others, but rather only to find a way out of an unfair situation even if this means resorting to illegal methods.

Get the MADlad mug.Someone from the Midlands in the UK, due to their geographical location in England is neither a Northern Monkey, or a Southern Fairy. A strong divide is fiercely argued between Northerners and Southerners as to who is better and lives at the better end of the country, in reality neither can speak English without strong and annoying accents and the Midlands is where the normal people live.
Chris is from Northampton so therefore is a Midlander, not a monkey or a fairy, and can talk and be understood correctly.
