It is used among cool (popular, sexy) high school kids in Brazil. It is used to describe indescribably weird stuff or people they STRONGLY disapprove of. This may vary from a clothing artifact, fake blonds with very tight and tacky clothes in nightclubs to an inappropriate smile so beware to not became another maroto.
