Marlton

A South Jersey town that 40-50 years ago was nothing but Farms and open space and hicks. Today the town is over developed the traffic is a nightmare, there's Wawa's, Bank's, Rite Aid's and small stupid shopping malls on every freaking corner. Most people that live in Marlton are Middle-Upper class, and act like complete snot heads that think they're better then everyone else and like their crap doesn't smell, especially the kids. Most Kids get everything handed to them from Mommy and Daddy, they lack the meaning of work ethic and that money doesn't grow on trees. A Town named after dirt as alluded too in a earlier post. The jock mentality is definally in full effect here in Marlton. The Kids have humongous egos, but yet cannot fight, but just talk big and tough but are small as munchkins that try and act getto but would die in Camden and Philly. Also Heroin high was so 10-15 years ago..

a great place to live with decent upper middle class people not talking trash & acting like idots like other local south jersey towns like mt. ephraim. actually, its been nominated as one of the best places to live. its a safe town, the shore is about 1 hour away, Philidelphia is about 20 minutes away, and NYC is about 90 minutes away ! also, it has many malls around to go shopping, some very good resturaunts around, and some good schools like Cherokee High & Marlton Middle. if i were you; i would live in marlton any day.

Marlton

A town just east of the nation's crime capitol, camden, NJ, and just west of the pinelands(aka home to hicks and the jersey devil). But here one would never suspect such henious happenings, as long as you overlook the stoner on every other corner. Overpopulated with yuppies and white trash, the area is certainly what one would call diverse. In marlton, the empty shoppingbags blow like tumbleweeds through the abandoned strip malls that cower in the shadows of new strip malls. Marlton is home to Cherokee High School, a curious institution in which can be found a mixture of stoners, jocks, hookers, goths, preppies, skaters, wiggers, freaks, emo's, and dumbasses, all living together. If you ever feel the nerve or need to come here, I strongly suggest that your rabies shots are updated and you get tested for herpes when you leave.

A town that has experienced a dramatic decrease in the annual percentage of chaos, thievings, vandalism, obnoxious car-horn noises, scheming, racism, cigar purchases, and bad driving since we all went to college. However, there are more capacitors available than before.

Marlton is pretty tame nowadays.

Stoners outnumber 'good kids' 5 to 1
The greatest carnival in the history of the world is held in Marlton at the end of every summer where half the kids there are drinking vodka out of soda bottles or were already fucked up before they got there. The parties are like nowhere else, anyone in high school can get weed, alcohol, or vikes in less then an hour. at first most people might seem like pricks...but pretty much everyones chill when you get to know em. alotta people are actually jealous of Marlton being that we party harder then alot of other people, and often end up ruining there parties when we go becuase they dont know how to handle mad drunk/high/ all around fucked up kids. also people dont fuck with marlton cause we will, and have walked across twnshps to fight other people. moslt our main goal is getting high and having fun, the stoners outnumber the alchoholics but if your a stoner you still will drink your ass off anyways after smokin your blunts. our weed is actually 10x better then anywhere else just because its marlton and marltons the shit. L rides and midnight blunt runs are a daily thing, and even the goody goodiest in the whole town drink more then the so called "partiers" in any other town in sj. kids here arent preppy or stoner or any of that shit...we do what the fuck we want and wear whatever the fuck we want (usually sweatpants and white t.) Cherokee High School is also the shit. we aint wiggers or think we're black or any of that shit, were just that cool. basically, marlton is sick... if your ever in marlton..hit up your nearest high school kid and your guarenteed to find a party in less then an hour.

mt laurel kid: damn them fucking marlton kids..they came to my party, trashed the shit outta the place, drank all the beer, and left smoke stains all over the walls.

moorestown kid: damn i wish i lived in marlton and not little faggy rich stuck up moorestown, they party 1000x harder and better then we ever will

Located in South Jersey, also known as "Dirt Town", Marlton is undoubtedly the preppiest town in the country. It's overflowing with hordes of preppy little girls who refuse to wear anything other than miniskirts and cling to purses as if their lives depended on them. Stay far, far away.
