Love and light
A term used often by people who confuse hedonism with spirituality. Often an upper middle class person who grew up in the midwest and subsequently moved to the mountains or somewhere by a beach or anywhere they consider "nature". Love and light people are usually only concerned with surrounding themselves with good looking shallow people and doing lots of psychedelics while they daydream about how they would run their own soviet. They usually congregate in old warehouses or off of dirt roads in spots that aren't ADA accessible and not up to building code. They own at least one sari and plan to go to India so they can learn yoga and open up an overpriced studio of their own in a cool hip city back in the USA. The love is the MDMA and the light is from their glow sticks and fire dancing.

The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant.
