Jihope is the ship name for Jimin (Park Jimin) and J-Hope (Jung Hoseok) from the Korean Boy Group, BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan/Bangtan Boys/Bulletproof Boys/Beyond The Scenes). They are part of the Sunshine Line (including Taehyung) and the Dance Line (including Jungkook).

An actual ray of sunshine. He will do anything to make you smile or laugh. It’s not hard for him to make someone feel better. But jhope is also part os the BIGGEST boy band out there. You guessed it, BTS. It us a delight to have jhope by yourside. Jhope loves to give kisses but doesn’t like being scared. Jhope can get scared easily and can be a bad scene to watch. Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
