IRWTK - I really want to know, is a catch phrase from the discussion forum on www.shsweb.com . It can be used as an actual request to explain something or as a light flame, an ironic "Please, do tell us more". The latter usage is definately more common.

The origin of the phrase is disputed, as a few different users have claimed to have started the trend. The alias "Huang", portaiting a foreign exchange who has many questions to ask, is often used with the phrase. Now the phrase is commonly used, often in the mannors described earlier or just as a nostalgic comment, referring to the fictive "Huang" and the time when registering your alias was not yet compulsory.
