A misspoken mix between 'Impersonate' and 'Imposter'. First coined in 2008 by Cameron Haskins.

V.-To assume the character or appearance of, especially fraudulently.

Tim, look! That guy is totally trying to imposternate you.

Imposterparent

When a mom or dad (mostly a dad) secretly enjoys playing with his son or daughter's toys and watching cartoons and feeling like a child again but pretends he or she is just doing their parental duty.

Friend 1- "Whatcha doing watching Hannah Montana and playing GI Joes, bro?

Friend 2- "Oh, you know, gotta do the parental duty. ho-hum"

Friend 1- "dude, your kids left the room an hour ago. You're such an imposterparent."

Friend 1 (sitting down)- "Is this the episode about Hannah stealing? Give me Cobra Commander over there, man."

Imposterbating

Verb:

When a person, while engaged in a sexual act with a second person, actively fantasizes that the sexual act is being performed with a third person, the imposter.
This technique is frequently employed by people in long term relationships whose sexual relations have become a repetitive routine.
Where a masturbator is said to have those that they fantasize about in their “spank bank”, the term used for imposterbating is the “imposter roster”.

Me and the old lady had our usual weekly tumble, but the whole time I was imposterbating with that stripper from the club.
